David is a tenured multi-channel marketer, consultant, researcher and for more than a decade has been the leading market analyst voice of the email marketing industry. Direct Magazine said David is “one of the most influential experts in email marketing, if not the most influential.”
David currently leads The Relevancy Group which is dedicated to educating the market on the imperative tactics necessary to improve an organization’s relevance within their target markets.
David was previously Vice President and Principal Analyst at Forrester Research and Jupiter Research. David has also held senior level positions at Apple Computer, Urban Outfitters/ Anthropologie, MicroWarehouse, ProTeam and CDA Computer Sales which was the first personal computer catalog marketer and merchant on CompuServe.
David is co-author of the book, Email Marketing: An Hour a Day, and has been a contributor to the Weekend Today Show on NBC. David is an advisor to various industry associations including the Online Trust Alliance and the DMA’s Email Experience Council.
